It’s Not Just Celebrities Who Commit Fashion Crimes
Yes, even heartthrob Jude Law has been known to make a few questionable fashion choices, as he’s recently been papped completing his warm winter woollen ensemble with a pair of garishly day-glow yellow and orange Nike Pumps; but following the golden rules can be tricky. Whether its takes men a little longer to react to the changes in fashion or maybe there is simply less pressure on them to look their best, men are just as prone as women to clothing no-nos which would have the fashion police wailing to the scene.
Though perhaps slightly odd looking, it’s obvious why many women prefer to wear trainers to work with their business suits, as not only is it far more comfortable than heels but, presumably, most women will have the intention of changing their shoes once they get to the office. Men however break the same rule, but without any intention whatsoever of making up for it, and not just on the way to work. It seems that, for men, a pair of trainers can be worn with almost any trousers, from jeans to jogging bottoms to black suit trousers. Unfortunately, formal etiquette faux pas don’t end there either, as men can often be accused of trying to ‘make’ their own suit out of a pair of mismatching trousers and a blazer; an ultimate no-no. Similarly, even if the suit does match, make sure the accompanying shirt and tie do too and don’t be like Manchester City midfielder Patrick Vieira, who showed up to a press conference recently in a blue suit, blue shirt, blue tie and grey plimsolls.
Perhaps fashion sense gets overlooked in view of practicality from time to time, as eyesores like the classically bad man combo of sandals and socks and men wearing Ugg boots (which are rarely supposed to worn outside anyway), could be considered simply preparing for the weather. However, other fashion non-nos, like men wearing far too tight skinny jeans, are almost unforgivable, no matter what your reason is.
When it comes to choosing what to wear, especially when it really counts, the many golden rules can usually be shorted to simply, play it safe. Little touches like making sure your belt always matches your shoes can make all the difference, and likewise avoiding white sports socks with your black suit is a good idea. If it’s not Christmas time, avoid the novelty clothes, especially in the office – comic book socks and musical ties on a man do not suggest that he has his finger on the pulse of fashion. When it really comes to mens fashion, having your own style, sticking to it and enjoying it can be great, as long as you keep a look out for those slip-ups along the way.

Is The Muslim Womans Hijab A Tool Of Oppression Or Just A Lousy Fashion Statement???
Women nowadays wear it for different reasons
Some for fashion, some for modesty, some to show their pride to be muslim.
Another couple of points:
1- Not all muslim women are oppressed. If you stopped and looked around you, you would notice a lot of educated, liberated muslim women.
2-Don’t confuse religion and culture
3- Muslim women are not the only ones that cover their hair. Are nuns oppressed? Are orthodox jewish or greek women oppressed? Are orthodox jewish men oppressed?
I come from a country where 95% of the population is muslim and we have had Women Prime ministers and the current Chief of the Governmental Investment Office is a woman.
Please be open minded and stop judging people.
