Start learning sewing now and possibly pattern making if you can. Get good grades and go to a fashion design school like Parsons or Fashion Institute of Technology. Try to get an internship at a big fashion design house while in college and after you graduate try to get a job at a design house. Once you have that experience, you may be able to launch your own label or work for a bigger name.
