I would like an idea for an inexpensive /or hand fashioned replacement for a kennel tray?

I volunteer at a local SPCA and we have a couple of wire fold up crates that were donated, but they do not have the tray. The tray needs to be about 18X24 inches
Wondered if there is an alternative item to use or fashion one somehow?

how about a thin piece of ply wood cut to size, with newspaper and a little blanket on top of it

First of all, thanks for volunteering. About the only thing that will work will be a thin piece of metal or plastic, something you can clean well. Good Luck……….

I have had galvanized trays made at a local heating a cooling shop (they make duct work). Call around first to see who will do it.

The rubber mat that goes under a large drain rack wold work. My folks have a dish drain rack that is about that size.

You might find a paint pan at the hardware store that would work, too.

Some cat litter boxes are that large.

Cruze through a home improvement store in the cooler area, as the pan under a cooler would work, and they do have replacement pans.

I have food steamer pans of that size.

I would just hit the second hand stores, and hardware stores looking for the right size/shape.

hi there, well if you live close by a dump you might look there for a piece of vynal linolium, cut it 4 inches bigger than the inside dimension of the cage, both length and width, then cut a 2inch square out of each corner, fold up the 2inch sides and duct tape them from the outside and there ya be good luck.
